中英文化体育交流协会羽毛球俱乐部去年夏季以来的第14次比赛于2024年1月30号晚上在英国伦敦温布尔登顺利举行, 又一对新冠军产生！英格兰羽毛球联赛于1月29号在伦敦温布尔登顺利举行，我们多名球员为比赛服务。
Total 24 players entered this tournaments with players in waiting, this is our first time have so many players, and we spilt the 12 pair players in 3 groups, the rules are:
Rules for the 14th Tournament on 30th Jan 2024:
1. 12 pairs are divided in 3 group, winner of each group and the best 2nd get in semi
2. 1 game to 21 with setting for all games.
3. 2 minutes warm up before each game
4. Both champions and runner ups will get medals and prices
5. Can have some friendly games after 9pm
It was all compete games in group, like past tournament, any pair could perform well on the night.
In group C, the fight even more tough, Runner ups of last tournament, Alex and Pete couldn’t win any game, Euan & Suthat get in Semi as the winner of the group.
Vivek and Kavit are the best group winners as they lost less points than others, they should face the best 2nd of the 3 groups. based on their points, all the 2nd of each group had 2 wins, but Reece and Varshan only lost 20-22, which is better than Sukwan and Daniel, who lost 19-21, so Reece and Varshan get in the semi.
Vivek and Kavit beat Varshan and Reece 21:16 in the semi after long fighting
Guru and Ramesh beat Euan and Suthat 21:17 in another Semi.
Guru and Ramesh played their best to be our Champions for 2nd time, last time was on the 30 Nov 2023, they’re the only pair won twice after 14 tournaments.

NBL was held at Wimbledon Racquets and Fitness Club on 29 January 2024, many of our players volunteered to be Umpire and line judges. it was very successful event, and live stream was broadcast on Swift Badminton youtbue channel
