For the first time, our tournament moved to a new venue – Carshalton High School for Girls – co‑hosted with Sutton Shuttlers. Despite some initial confusion over the location, eight pairs made it onto the four courts for an evening of exciting badminton, friendly rivalries, and heartwarming stories.

The remaining pairs played friendly matches, ensuring everyone got plenty of game time.
Semi‑finals:
The two winning pairs from the quarter‑finals progressed to the final.
🏆 The Final
In a thrilling final, Jonnie & Nethra faced Guru & Dillon – a father‑son duo who had reached the final together.
Jonnie & Nethra emerged victorious, claiming the title. For Nethra, this was a first‑ever tournament win – a breakthrough moment to celebrate. 🏆
Dillon (age 11) and his father Guru finished as runners‑up, marking Dillon’s second consecutive final appearance after his incredible run in the 54th tournament. The father‑son pairing added an extra layer of warmth to the evening.
