📍 ARRIVE AT 7:00 PM – Court 1 for warm-up.
⏱️ Warm-up rotation: 5 minutes per pair.
🎾 First matches may begin before 8:00 PM.
📅 TIMELINE
- 7:00 PM – Arrival & Warm-up
- ~7:55 PM – Group Stage begins
- ~9:20 PM – Group stage ends → Full group photo
- ~9:30 PM – Knockout Stage begins
- ~10:30 PM – Tournament ends
🎯 MATCH FORMAT
- All matches: 1 game to 21 points with standard setting (must win by 2, cap at 30).

🏸 50th Tournament – Simple Rules
1. Match Format
- All matches are 1 game to 21 points.
- Standard setting: must win by 2 points, capped at 30 points (e.g., 30-29 is a winning score).
2. Handicap System
- Each pair has a pre-assigned handicap (e.g., -2, 0, +4).
- The game starts directly from these handicap scores. (Example: -1 vs +4 starts at -1 : 4).
- The first team to reach 21 points from the starting score wins.
3. Group Stage
- 4 groups (A, B, C, D) of 4 pairs each.
- Each pair plays every other pair in their group once (3 matches per pair).
- Ranking in the group is determined by:
- Matches Won
- Head-to-Head result (if tied)
- Point Difference (Total Points Scored minus Total Points Conceded)
4. Knockout Stage
- After groups, the top 2 teams from each group advance to the Main Knockout for cash prizes (£200/£100).
- The 3rd & 4th place teams from each group enter the Consolation Knockout for T-shirt prizes.
- All knockout matches are single elimination (lose and you’re out).
5. General Conduct
- Players must call their own lines honestly. In case of dispute, replay the point.
- Please respect all players, organisers, and the venue.
- Have fun and celebrate our 50th tournament!
For the 1st & 2nd place teams (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1, D2) competing for the £200 / £100 cash prizes.
For the 3rd & 4th place teams (A3, A4, B3, B4, C3, C4, D3, D4) competing for the Swifties Feather Series T-shirts.
