The 46th Wu Badminton Tournament brought another night of competitive spirit and camaraderie at Wimbledon Rackets & Fitness Club on August 28th. This edition featured a single round-robin group of six pairs, ensuring that every team had plenty of matches before the knockout stage.
2025年8月28日，第46届羽毛球公开赛在伦敦 Wimbledon Rackets & Fitness Club 成功举办。本届赛事采用 单组循环赛制，共有6对选手参赛，保证了每对组合都有充分的比赛机会。
All matches were powered by Swifties Pro 77 — natural cork, tournament-grade, equal to Yonex AS50 in quality.

After tightly contested group play, only one point separated the top three pairs. Nethra & Tarandeep edged ahead as group winners, followed closely by Thi & Viresh in 2nd and Ramesh & Murugan in 3rd. Joel & Andrew secured the final semi-final slot in 4th place.
🔥 Knockout Stage Drama
- Semi-final 1: Nethra & Tarandeep defeated Joel & Andrew in a tense match highlighted by an incredible 53-shot rally, one of the longest ever recorded in Wu Tournament history.
- Semi-final 2: Thi & Viresh overcame Ramesh & Murugan to reach the final.
- Grand Final: In a thrilling battle, Thi & Viresh triumphed over Nethra & Tarandeep 21–18 to claim the championship.
🏆 New Champion Crowned
This tournament marked a special milestone as Viresh lifted his first Wu Tournament title, partnering with Thi to secure victory. Both champions received custom medals and Swifties Core shuttlecocks as their prizes — a fitting reward for their consistent performance throughout the night.
