The 45th Wu Badminton Tournament brought another thrilling night of competition, with a new format of two games per group match — giving players more court time than ever and resulting in an incredible number of matches played. Held on 21 August 2025 at Wimbledon Rackets & Fitness Club, the event showcased both intensity and camaraderie in equal measure.
A historic milestone was achieved as 15-year-old Goldie became the youngest champion in Wu Tournament history, proving that age is no barrier when it comes to skill, determination, and composure under pressure.

1️⃣ 8 pairs split into 2 groups
2️⃣ Group stage: 2 games to 21 (no setting)
3️⃣ If time allows → Top 2 from each group advance to semi-finals
4️⃣ Semi & Final: 1 game to 21 (with setting)
5️⃣ Handicap points applied by organiser for more competitive games
6️⃣ Be on time ⏰, max 2 min warm-up per match
7️⃣ Shuttles: Swifties Pro 77 (natural cork)
