中英文化体育交流协会羽毛球俱乐部去年夏季以来的第32次羽毛球比赛, 今年的第20次比赛，于2024年10月23号在英国伦敦温布尔登顺利举行！此次比赛吸引到了国际球星Toby Penty, Surrey County 冠军 Sam Phillips 等众多优秀选手参赛。

32nd tournament on ✊ 23 Oct 2024 Rules:

Players will be divided in 3 groups with 3 seeds, Winners of each group get in semi, best two group 2nd play quarter.
1 game to 21 with setting for all games, but may play 3 games for semi and final if all agrees and time allows
Best 2nd pairs will be based on the score vs seeds, if same, count the other games.
Winners get medals and prizes, & Runner-ups get prizes

In group A **Toby Penty and Ruhaan**, played well to be the group winner, only lady in the tournament, Bin Mao, partnered with mixed double partner, Euan also played well finished 2nd, unluckily didn’t get in the quarter due to less points vs seeds. **VJ and hi brother, Raj**, from India visiting uk, also enjoyed the tournament.

In group B, **Sam Phillips & Allan** won the group as expected, but the other two pairs played well, got 19 and 16 from the seed, Sukwan and Ramesh beat Daniel and Alvin in another game, Sukwan and Ramesh get in Quarter.

More drama from Group C, **Min and Gordon** played well to beat the favourite seed, **Stuart Wood and Chris,** to win the group, **Thi and Jonnie** also played well only lost 21:23 to the seed, Stuart and Chris gets in the quarter.

in the quarter, Sturart & Chris beat Sukwan & Ramesh, another close game

in the semi, no 1 seed Toby & Ruhaan lost to 3rd seed Stuart and Chris, and Min & Gordon lost to 2nd see Sam and Allan

in the final no 2 seed, Sam and Allan beat no 3 seed Stuart and Chris. Sam and Allan are our new champions, both played 1st time in our tournament.

Toby Penty presented medals to the champions, and owner of Surrey Eco Farm, Dr Xuanmin Zhao presented prizes to the Winners and Runner-ups with the beautiful and delicious Aromatic Glutinous Corn.
