中英文化体育交流协会羽毛球俱乐部去年夏季以来的第22次比赛, 今年的第8次比赛，于2024年5月2号晚上在英国伦敦温布尔登顺利举行！比赛每月1-2次, 媒体发布新闻，欢迎商家冠名和赞助我们的比赛.
22nd tournament Rules:
- 8 pairs divided in 2 groups
- 1 game to 21 WITHOUT setting for group games, all other knock-out games 21 with setting.
- group games start from 8pm, top 2 of each groups get in Semi
- Be on time, max 2 minutes warm up before each game, please don’t waste time.
- Champions get medals and prizes
- Entry fee £8/player (£16/pair)
- Winner of each game write down the score
- Court 5,6,7 for 8-9pm, court 5,6 for 9-10pm, games on court 5&6 will be recorded
In the semi, group A winner, Simon & Mathew, beat Ryan & Gordon , 2nd of group B, 2nd of group A, Ben & Zak, take on group winner of group B, Andy & Peter, Ben and Zak get in final.
There are some dramas in the final, Ben and Zak played really well from the start, keep leading until 17:10 (?), but Simon & Mathew fights back, got 19 all, the 20 all, Simon and Mathew finished as the champions by wining 22:20
Simon is first time to be our Champions. Congratulations to all the players. Well done everyone, played really good games.
Our next tournament is on the following day, 3 May 2024. and will be live steamed.
