We are thrilled to announce the 58th WR&FC Swifties Badminton Tournament – and this time, the prize is something truly special.
For the first time, champions will walk away with a custom-designed shirt featuring original artwork by self‑taught Indian artist Surekha Reddy, known for her beautiful landscapes and portraits. More than just a shirt – it’s a piece of art you can wear. 🎨
🎁 A Unique Prize – Designed with Heart
The prize shirt has been specially designed for the 58th tournament, blending the spirit of badminton with the beauty of fine art. Each shirt is a limited‑edition piece, making this tournament a collector’s item for the lucky winners.
We are incredibly grateful to Nethra for donating this special prize. Nethra is a Level 2 Badminton England Coach with over 14 years of professional playing experience. She competed at national level in India, works professionally in sport, coaches juniors and adults, and is a member of Badminton England’s Inspire Committee. She is also available for coaching sessions in the Wimbledon area – if you’re looking to improve your game or get match‑ready, feel free to reach out to her.

Time: 7pm start
Venue: Wimbledon Racquets & Fitness Club (WRFC)
Format: Intermediate & Advanced Doubles
Max Pairs: 12 – final selection based on grading and ranking
Prizes:
- Champions: Custom-designed artwork shirt by Surekha Reddy + Swifties T‑shirt + Gold Medal
- Runners-up: Swifties custom T‑shirt (if entries allow)
Shuttles: SkyFeather A+

Please include the following details:
- Your name and playing grade
- Your partner’s name and playing grade (if you already have one)
- If your partner is a non-member, please provide your best guess of their playing grade – this helps us place pairs fairly.
Deadline: Please register by 1pm on 23rd July.
Only players who register before the deadline will be considered for the draw.
We welcome:
- Prize donations (shirts, vouchers, equipment, etc.)
- Sponsorship of future tournaments
- Support for our ACCSEA “Help Children Play Badminton” project
