What began as a regular club event has grown into a significant local tradition, and the 50th edition delivered unforgettable drama, sportsmanship, and celebration, fitting for such a golden milestone. Reflecting on the journey from the 49th Tournament, this event underscored the incredible growth and spirit of our community.

🥇 Group Stage Dominance

The evening kicked off with intense round-robin matches across four groups, where every point counted in a single-game format. The top seeds showed their quality, with the eventual group winners—Jonnie & Phillips (A), Guru & Sam (B), Faran & Kris (C), and Tommy & Tan (D)—each securing a perfect three wins to top their tables.

⚔️ Knockout Drama & Nail-Biting Finishes

The knockout stage was where legends were made. In the semi-finals, the intensity reached its peak. The match between Eden & Dave and Venket & Santy will be talked about for years to come, ending in a breathtaking 25-24 victory after a tense decision to play up to 25 from a 22-22 deadlock.

The final was a masterclass in pressure. With court time running out, finalists Faran & Kris and Venket & Santy agreed to a thrilling 10-minute showdown. In the fading light, they battled to an 18-17 climax, crowning Venket & Santy as the deserved champions of our 50th tournament.

A special congratulations also to Rohan & Luke, who fought through the Consolation bracket to win the Swifties Feather Series T-shirts.
